Spring, Swaps and New Books.

Hi Ladies,
Well like Jenny of Elfantz said a few days ago have we missed spring. It has been so hot here the last few days that we even had a storm with thunder. Not much rain in it but you could here it on the roof. If this is the start of Spring then we are in for a very hot summer out here in the bush.

But with Spring on our doorsteps i have been out putting water around trying to green up the place and stop some of the dust in the house and came across these today. I just love orchards and have been giving these tender care for years and i now have flowers yay.
I have been busy with swaps on the forum that i am with. We have just swapped a Sew Compendium and mine went to Jorja-Lyn in SA and she loved it. Here are photo's of it, i used my things to check that Jorja-Lyn would be able to fit here things in it as i made the pattern up myself.
And this is the beautiful Sew Compendium that i received from Linda in WA.
I love the saying on the front and here is the inside.
I am talking to ladies all over Australia and some overseas on the forum and loving it. Also in the mail last week was two books that i just had to order one is Tilda and the other Moda book and both are just wonderful. Can not wait to get started on making things out of them both.
They are two book that are worth adding to your collection.
Well lunch time here and the men are in had to take this photo to show you of there hats hanging while hands are being washed.

Have a great day and i will be back soon as have nearly finished the little crocheting from last post to show you all.

Hugs
Narelle

Hi Narelle, the compendiums are great. Your design is beaut- lots of room for all the necessities!
I love orchids, too. Is that one denrobium nobile? I think I have something similar in my shade house. I have just got a couple of Tilda books ( my first from o'seas) a summer one and a Xmas one- they were bought together but the Xmas one hasn't arrived yet. :(
