Hi My Friends,

Over the next few days (weeks) i will be updating this blog. and letting you all in on a secret that i have held for the last 12 months.

With a lot of pride i introduce you to my first design that was released at Lets Get Stitched in Hobart this year. I have had so much fun designing sewing and writing up a pattern. Cleaned out the cobwebs out of the old brain i can tell you. But a lot of fun was had this end. So here it is

 Little Hexie Bag

Well there it is my 1st design. It is a little drawstring bag with a Hexi base and 3 little Hexies on the outside on each side as well, on the inside it has 6 pockets on each side of the hexie. I love this little bag so much.
Many thanks goes to the LGS Designers Fee, Dawn Vicki and Joy for seeing and believing that i could do it. Joy for being my mentor and being on the end of the phone when i needed advice. Teresa for being a friend and teaching me do make and love hexies.
Love all you Ladies.
Till tomorrow

What a week

Well another week gone in the year and a busy one here on the property. Mustering this week and i find myself either in the toyota or on the bike waiting at gates to open and close them as the chopper brings the cattle in and the boys on horses are waiting to put them together with other cattle.
Look at the grass that we have since getting some rain just beautiful.
Look at this baby walked all the way home and we had two babies born in the yards over night. Love the babies.

Walking Walking Walking home we go to get sprayed to get rid of the flies.

And here is what i got compleated this week while out opening and closing gates and waiting with the boys lunch. See my new toy well i now have hexies everywhere just love it.

Well i hope you all had a wonderful week it was so hot mustering and being in the yards. Nice to just sit with a glass of white and listen to the birds.

Christmas in July Received and Sent

Hi Guys,
Yes it is me and i have been busy and behind with some swaps. I joined the Christmas in July Swap held by the wonderful Cheryll and Kim. I have had a wonderful time making Christmas items and sending them off and receiving a parcel from a Christmas Angel.

I sent these gifts to Claire i can show you now as i no that she has finally received them. I was a bit worried for a few days as the parcel had not turned up but all OK and Claire has it.

I made this Mat for Claire and love the way it turned out.

Then i make the Towel Toppers and loved them to.

As it has been cold here at night i sat and knitted this Christmas Tree.

Well in the mail last week a parcel came for me from a Christmas Angel. When i saw the address on the back i was sure that i knew who my Angel was and i was right. The lovely Cathy Cates and look at what she sent me i loved it all. I took photos but they came out all dark so borrowed the photos that Cathy had taken from her blog as they are soooo much better as Cathy is a great photographer.

A beautiful candle Mat.

Have a look at this beautiful wall hanging. I just love it.

A Christmas note book to write my Christmas list in. I so love the fabric look at that Santa and Reindeer.

AND have a look at these little sweeties. I just adore Angels and now i have two more the Purple one is hanging on my handbag and the other beautiful pearl one is on my scissors.

I have loved this swap and will be doing it again next year as it is so much fun to have Christmas half way through the year.

Well that is it from me have some more sewing cut out ready so will into it and hopefully show you soon what else i have been up to.

Have a wonderful day

Beautiful Sunday

Morning Everyone, What a wonderful day it is here in Far North Queensland. I intend to go and stitch out in the sun today and just sit and think of nothing how wonderful. Well thought I would show you what i have been up to of late. Have been a bit off colour so when like that i sit and crochet. Here is the rug that i have finished for DS1 it was for his 21st but that pasted so at least he will get it for this winter.

Oh dear the colour in the photo is not to good the colours are Black,Green and Royal Blue. So then i have started DS2 blanket but i think that he will have to get his next winter. AAArrr this photo is better.

Then i have also been doing some baby rugs this one is for a friend a couple of stations away she had a beautiful little girl.
Then i found this Chenille Baby wool at the Reject shop and i could not leave it on the shelve it is beautiful as you can see you make this rug corner to corner. This pattern is just so lovely to crochet.

And i finished off the Rosalie Stitchery that we received at LGS in Melbourne this year. I so enjoyed stitching this that i am going to do another and i used the Cottage Garden Threads 1201 Peacock so beautiful as i am a fan of anything variegated.
We have had an addition to the Chook family Proud Roger the Rooster has joined the Girls. He is so strapping hope to get some very nice chickens from him and the girls.

Well that is it for now have a wonderful Sunday and i will talk to you all again soon.
