Morning Ladies, Well we are getting thunderstorms and lovely rain for the last 3 days and everything is looking fresh and beautiful. That's what you get out here after you pull a windmill. Two weekend ago we noticed that the tank was down on water and that the windmill was not pumping like it should so pull it up to change the buckets was in order. Now that is done we get the wonderful rain. Here is DH and DS up the windmill and can you see the wire rope here in the middle of the photo at the bottom i am in the Toyota pulling that so that we can bring up the rods and pipes. We were down there at 6am that weekend to pull it up then went home to putt the new buckets on the pump and back down on Sunday morning to put it all back down.I will have to get outside and take some photo's of the Raintrees so that you can see how beautiful they are looking. We thought that we had lost them from the cyclone but will pouring some water and the rain they have come back looking lovely.
The Beautiful Wendy over at Sugarlane Quilts had her 2nd Blog anniversary and i won yay. Look what arrived in the mail last week all wrapped beautifully.
And look at the goodies inside i have never had a turnover before and the beautiful threads and Wendy must no that i love variegated threads they are all lovely thank you Wendy.
Well i have the first load of washing on the line and now to get DS onto his maths for the day do that i can vacuum and mop before it gets to hot. Lets hope that we get some more rain this afternoon. Just talked to hubby who is away at the mines and it is 38 there already but he said that the clouds are already building so lets hope that they get some rain out there to settle the dust. Only 10 days and he will be back home and we then are mustering. Busy busy busy this time of year.Well hope that you all have a great day.
